Motif Reference Manual Being Updated

Hi,

The Motif Reference manual is being updated to reflect the new features in OpenMotif 2.3. This update is made possible due to the generous release of this book under the Open Publication License by its original publisher, O'Reilly & Associates, and its authors, Antony Fountain & Paula Ferguson.

As suggested by the Open Publication License as part of their "Good Practices", we are providing a copy to the original authors for their comments and review. We expect this review to be completed by the first of the year (2006 :wink: ) and will then make the document available for all under the terms the OPL.

The purpose of this forum is to provide a place to report and correct errors in the document. As you find things that need to be corrected, please share!

In addition, there is now a whitepaper that explains two of the major new functionalities in OpenMotif 2.3: Anti-aliased fonts and UTF-8 support.
