Now that OpenMotif 2.3 has been released, we would like to encourage all OpenMotif developers to share their thoughts on the future of OpenMotif in this forum. The OpenMotif Development Group will be looking at these suggestions when they are planning the development of the next version of OpenMotif. Megan |

Hi,

I suggest adding a simple xm-demo app similar to gtk-demo that get installed by default and showcases the motif widget set and would a great sanity check on a working installation. I know there are a number of test apps that can be built from the source, but a single point-of-reference you can check to see if motif is installed and working (on any system) would be beneficial. |

Last night I tried to download the frame maker documentation but it was not there. In the morning I already tried to get the pdfs but no lack. For OM 2.3beta2. And as a user requirement I would like to have a decent eclipse distribution with motif SWT but with scrollbars controllable by the mouse wheel. I also wish that tcl motif was revived, but I think it is left to the community(in other words me). Thanks for your time. Motif ROCKS!!! I use Lesstif (because it is open source and I like it a lot). |

I have noticed that X/Motif is not part of the cygwin packages. Why is that? |
